Now that Sam, the World’s Ugliest Dog, has died there is some real competition going on for his successor.

Here we have TigerPooch, which may or may not be a photo manipulation. You’ll see that some sincere tongue action generally adds to the ugliness quotient. I’d call this dog fascinating rather than ugly.

Almost any Chinese Hairless photo would do. This one jumps the high hurdle of having a very strange jaw alignment and spooky eyes as well.

When you plug “ugly dog” into google images, guess what other breed also shows up? Ha! Vindicated!

This dog is circumstantially ugly. More like “Ew-gly”.

And finally back to the ugliest breed with a very strong contender for the photo of the year. This mutt has it all: the bald skin, the mohawk, the “don’t fuck with me” attitude combined with inappropriate bling necklace, the tongue hanging out like an old piece of liver. For now it’s the winner!
