					<description>Yup, that's about it.  Book 2 and 3 are very different than the first one.   Will plays a big part, helping moderate Lyra's selfishness and they end up working well together to Save Everything.</description>

					<description>Very funny link.  The script is about right.  I do like the Sam Elliott part in it.

I just finished with the 1st book.  I did not find Lyra to be either spoiled overly or selfish- she just seemed like a typical child/preteen.  it was an OK book, just OK, rather like Aragon (a story that is almost an exact copy of Star Wars).  Hey, now there is a film to have edited by The Editing Room.  Now, that would be funny also!

(PS The daemons and polar bears were really neat in the film.)</description>
