The last Olympics post? Maybe

One might think of the BBC as being kind of staid and stuffy but compared to the lame US Olympics lead-ins that is not so, based on this animation they used as the main video for their Olympics‘ coverage.

The animation is based on a famous Chinese novel, Journey to the West, which goes to show how deficient I am in my famous Chinese novel-reading because I had never heard of it before today.

Here’s two versions of this movie, the higher-def one from the BBC and a second slightly muzzier for those who prefer YouTube.
