Might as well jump! Go ahead, jump! — TTT 04 Apr

I found a really magnificent image of a caracal last week to share.

Click for large version.

These wild cats are not as well known as their larger cousins, but worthy of some attention for their subtle tan beauty and very exotic ear tufts. Rather than type out a bunch of information stolen from other website, just click here to read about them on the Animal Diversity Web. Setting that aside, one of their neatest characteristics is a profound ability to leap. And by that, I mean LEAP!!

Now I’m going to go listen to Eddie Van Halen play guitar and think about wild cats. :D

Whoah! Smaller cats, like kitten of domestic cats, can jump higher, % wise, but that was quite a jump. Very cool.

I saw some stupid movie yrs back where a person was getting stalked by a puma in AZ. They showed the “omg scary puma!” and it was a caracal. Made me burst out laughing.

And I thought Zoe could jump!
