Wednesday, April 8th, 2009This friendly (and itchy) owl looks like an animatronic creature in some Japanese anime theme park.
Apparently it is a Spot-bellied Eagle Owl. A comment on YouTube says the voice is speaking Malay so I wonder if the bird is in some kind of sanctuary there? It’s pretty cute even when flashing the nictitating membranes on its eyes.
